I know that I haven't updated in a while but that is because I'm on a job search. I haven't been employed by the TV station in almost 2 months. I got downsized the day after my newest niece, Adrianna Marie Paris, was born. This year has been wonderful so far (NOT!!) My stomach was upset the night of New Year's Eve in Las Vegas, my grandfather passed away that Saturday, my mom broke her arm in February and I lost my job in April. The only good thing that has happened this year so far is that my niece was born. Another highlight that I am most definitely looking forward to is Melanie visiting me for the weekend of the 4th of July. Otherwise, I want 2008 to be over with already. Anybody else feeling that way?

As I got the rundown for this evening's 5 o'clock news, I saw that Scooter died. I was devastated to hear about the news that one of the classiest guys in baseball passed away. His personality, his wit, his humor. Scooter, please say hello to Mickey, Maris, Joe D, and Thurman for all of us who miss them always, like we will miss you. And Holy Cow, will you be forever in our hearts and thoughts. All prayers to your family at this time.

Im at work, at 12:43AM. I found out today that I have to work on my birthday on July 9th. Vera and I will still be going to Canada for her birthday and a little bit of my birthday. Im excited to go. Yankees are sucking majorly. I know i know you thought you would never hear that come out of my mouth but it is. Especially today when they lose to the ORIOLES!!! HOW DO YOU LOSE TO THE ORIOLES!!! You know that if they suck coming to the Post-season, heads will be chopped off majorly! *whispering Brian Cashman's name under breath* Oh well...

Hello there in livejournal land,
MY YANKEES HAVE A WINNING STREAK GOING!!! IT'S A MIRACLE!!! Anywho, everyone is well in my corner of the world. I went to my friend Minty's wedding almost 2 weeks ago and it was a lot of fun. Saw a lot of my other friends that weekend. Very busy but very fun. And I have never gotten paid for a vacation and I got paid for 2 of the days that I was gone. I love working full-time and getting vacation days!! The other wedding is in Texas during the beginning of October. I was just beer wench for KARGO for the third year. I have officially been at my job for 3 months. It's weird to think it's already been that long that I've been here. Having fun. Also, Chelsea is walking and is becoming more and more vocal. She loved being outside today in the beautiful weather. She will be 2 in October. So weird thinking how fast she is growing up. TTYL.

LETS GO YANKEES STARTING ON MONDAY!!! I started my new job 3 weeks ago Monday and my last day at wegmans was 3 weeks ago today. If anyone knows me well enough, they would understand that I love my hours!! They are 430 in the afternoon to 130 in the morning. They work out wonderfully. Have a wonderful day all!

Yesterday, as a plane crashed into a NYC apartment building, Cory Lidle, pitcher for the New York Yankees, lost his life at the age of 34. He was piloting the plane that was registered to him and he also had a flight instructor with him. Cory leaves behind his wife of 9 years, Melanie and their son Christopher, age 6. He will be sorely missed by the Major League Baseball family.
While the news around NYC was that it might be another terrorist attack, after all the details were out in the open, it was a shock to the Baseball world, and fans alike. As the Oakland A's were playing the Detroit Tigers last night, there was a Lidle jersey hanging on the backstop behind home plate because he was a former A's player. The New York Mets and the St. Louis Cardinals game was canceled due to rain and Lidle also played for the Mets, so I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a few Lidle jerseys once again tonight when Game One starts.
Rest in Peace, Cory Lidle. Please say hello to Thurman Munson and Roberto Clemente as we think of them as well in this sad time.

I haven't written in this thing for a long time. I should start off by saying that I am no longer dating Andy. That busted the day after my birthday, July 10. Oh well, but I do have a date(i think it's one) tomorrow with Mike, the brother of a co-worker's boyfriend. It sounds complicated but it really isn't. I'm back at school at MCC to finish 3 classes to become certified to teach History, hopefully getting into a Master's program at RIT to teach specifically to the deaf and hard of hearing. I have 24 credits from my Bachelor's and need 6 more to be certified. Still working for Wegmans and the Rochester Red Wings. They made it to the playoffs and they won the first game yesterday, while I was working. I'm going to tonights game also because my dad won tickets to it. GO YANKEES!!!!!

Hello there... i haven't written in a while but i thought i should... i just got back from meeting my boyfriend's parents and family in maryland... they are all very nice and were all wonderfully inviting to someone new like me... i can't believe it's already been almost 5 months since we started dating... officially it was halloween... my niece turned 5 months old today... i know 5 people that are all due in may to have kids: Mary, Alecia, Heather, Renee(sister's friend) and Stephanie(friend's sister)... my job at the red wings starts in a month... am seeing tim mcgraw and faith hill when they come to buffalo in may... am hopefully going to NYC in April and catch a yankee game i hope... Sopranos comes back on Sunday :):):):):):):):):):)talk to you later...

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006!! :) we now have DSL at the house and it is absolutely wonderful... i'm still with my boyfriend, andrew michael james... it was 2 months on new years eve and he got me half a dozen red roses... for christmas, he got me a silver heart necklace, perfume and a horoscope calendar... i got him Family Guy volume 2, two magnets and a bracelet with his nickname "Butthead"... still looking for a different job in order to get out of wegmans, i hate my job... i'm going to california for a week starting on january 13th and coming back on the 19th for Helen's 21st birthday... it will be my first time in a different time zone... i hope i don't get jet-lag... talk to you later :)

Hello there people...
I know i haven't written in a while so here is a quick update... i had a lot of fun in north carolina in june... i turned 21 on july 9... my niece was born on October 9, 2005 named Chelsea Catherine Paris... i went to maryland for work and got paid a lot of money thank god... my giants beat the cowboys on sunday... the dolphins beat the bills on sunday... i've been dating my boyfriend andy since halloween and he's so freakin cute... email me if you want to see any pictures of him or both of us... have a happy holiday...

I have been working every day since last friday and will continue as far as i know until sunday EEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW i'll be in the money though YYYYYAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY tomorrow is yu nagata's birthday must send card my sister is definitely having a girl they made sure at the ultrasound that i went to with her, my mom and karen(baby's godmomma) i have a job interview for an associate producer on 10NBC tuesday here is the description:JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Assist news producers in production of daily newscasts, script writing, gathering information, organizing videotape, retrieving archival footage, and compiling scripts. Also, assist assignment manager with answering telephones, daily beat calls and opening mail.

I'm home on friday from camp and it has been a wonderful experience so far... last week the kids had athsma and this week it's immunology and gi tract(HIV, Chrones, gastrointestinal diseases)... these kids are so amazing... tonight is NASCarnival night and kurt busch is going to be here w/ his crew team... i just hope it doesn't rain from the remenants of the tropical storm arlene... last week NASCarnival night had to be held indoors and that wasn't cool at all... GO YANKEES please pull something out of ur asses... there is less than a month to my birthday, 2 months to kenny chesney, a little more than 2 months to meatloaf, and less than 6 months to U2... WOO HOO countdown time is about to commence

hey there from victory junction... today was the last day of the week w/ the kids that have asthma, the kids with immunology and gi come in on sunday... i am going to be sleeping as much as i can after this volunteer closing ceremony at 11 b/c i'm not used to having to wake up at 645 in the morning everyday... my book is really good... i finished harry potter on my way down here last week and i started true believer by nicholas sparks... if anyone wants to email me and see pictures from the camp i will gladly load them and send them as soon as i get home next week... have fun for now see you later... btw, there are some really cute guys here ;) and one of the campers, asher, played mariah carey "we belong together" on the piano just for me the whole story is that he played piano during stage day yesterday and he was really good and i asked him what his favorite song to play on the piano was and he said we belong together and he played it for me this morning during breakfast amongst all the noise of the 200 or so people 125 of which are the campers alone ages 6-15

Hello there... haven't written in a while.. been busy working and looking for a full time job... i am right now at the victory junction gang camp and it's really cool and exciting to be here... i am meeting a lot of different people right now... my cell phone doesn't have very good service around here so don't try to call the cell... i'll just get in touch with you some other way... have a great one... i'll try to keep everyone as updated down here as i possibly can over the next 2 weeks...

Hola my peoples... i have wonderful news... i'm going to be an aunt to baby girl named Chelsea Lynne Paris... yes my sister found out today that she is having a baby girl... i met ishiee's parents today and they are very nice... im about to say goodbye to syeda :'-( me getting upset now... having dinner w/ brenda later tonight... have to get packing later... parents, tina, chris and vera come tomorrow...movie with chris c tomorrow and lunch w/ aiko, yu, miho, henry and possibly ishiee and karen tomorrow also... stadium tour, chinatown, midtown and mommy's surprise coming saturday also... graduation on sunday... and i start working at wegmans again on wednesday so if you come in, you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of me in either the sub shop or fisherman's wharf... lucky you ;) have fun people GO YANKEES TOMORROW

THE YANKEES WIN THE YANKEES WIN while i was there for a miracle this was the fifth game that i went to during the semester and this was the first win that i have seen at the stadium and i also got a tan that looks interesting ;)sex and the city is now done w/ it's first run on tbs but its going to keep on trucking :) love that show way too much... got my graduation presents from helen and syeda got 2 dvds and a snoopy animal from helen and my audrey hepburn purse from syeda i probably already mentioned this but oh well am going to meet ishiee's parents tomorrow night and have dinner w/ brenda for the last time :'( thats going to make me really sad saying goodbye to her... im also going to a tour of yankee stadium and going to the city on saturday and GRADUATING on sunday how exciting for me also i'm going to be going back to work on wednesday before i have to go to the camp i got my blanket and now i'm happy woo hoo
